An Bang – little known beautiful beach in Hoi An

An Bang – little known beautiful beach in Hoi An
Only when presented in the list of top 50 most beautiful beaches in the world of CNNGo page, An Bang is newly known though it’s just over one km far from Cua Dai Beach.
Early morning in the Central, the sun has begun to dawn on the horizon at only 5 a.m. It hasn’t beensunny yet but everything’s clear, the cool wind blows from the Thu Bon River. It is also interesting time to ride by bicycle along the small path with coconut trees from Hoi An towards the sea.
Only a few kilometers from Hoi An, bicycle wheels roll through lush green fields, across a small bridge spanning the river towards the sea.Instead of going straight to Cua Dai beach, you turn left along the coastal footpath and run for about one km further to reach An Bang.

Strips of sea funnel spreading on the sloping sand bloom purple flowers in the sun. On the deserted beach, a few people are rushing into the sea. They are not tourists but people around here who are used to going to the beach every morning. Not picky with parasols, umbrellas, tables and chairs, only having pure sea waves, 4 km sandy beach and brilliant sunshine overhead.
An Bang in Cam An ward, Hoi An is the beach of people living around the area. They usually come here for swimming, playing sports or going for a walk in the morning, before starting a new working day. Therefore, in the morning, we could meet boys and girls desperately catching wind- sea crab, teenagers fighting for a ball on the long sandy beach or elderly couples sitting to talk with each other, watching basket boats bobbing in the distance. Just for a moment, when the sun rises completely, they will disperse to do routine working and bring back peaceful beach with gentle waves.

An Bang has just developed simple services such as home-stay for tourists.Despite tourists starting to know and visit in recent years, An Bang still retains peaceful and unspoiled line.Seaway stretches with fine sand dunes. The waves here are not too big but gentle on the beach. It’s not as noisy as Cua Dai beach; visitors lie on the couch reading a book comfortably, sunbathe and enjoy delicious food on the beach. The sea is deserted and quiet; far away from Cu Lao Cham Island. When the sun rises highly, you can stay under coconut leaf roofs to avoid the sun and are not bored with lying all day.
In An Bang, most of visitors drive here in the morning, play all day without boredom on the beach and return to Hoi An at night.Guests loving the sea will stay in simple guesthouses on the beach to watch all sparkling stars and waves surfing relentlessly from the sea.

After 3 years from the date of being voted in top 50 most beautiful beaches in the world, An Bang still remains its rustic and simple beauty. Services are not massively developed due to the title. People do not still move here for sales or pick up visitors because this beach belongs to Hoi An’s fishermen and those who love calmness of the sea.
